Eugene A. "Bill" Willis Sr., 73, formerly of Fairdale, died Monday [April 11, 1988] at Clark County Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. He was a retired elevator construction worker. Survivors: his wife, the former Ruth Truax; two daughters, Mary Ann Rennirt and Amy Farmer; three sons, Eugene A. Jr., Gary E. & Bryan A. Willis; a sister, Florence Washer; a brother, Russell Caple; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Billy Howell's Fairdale Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and from noon - 3 and 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
