Gary Lamont “Gus” Conner, 79, of Everett, PA; passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Conemaugh Nason Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 23, 1940; a son of the late Roy A. and Mary Helen (Bequeath) Conner. On December 21, 1963 he married Wanda Kay (Colledge) Conner. His wife of fifty-six years is surviving with the following family son Gary Troy Conner; daughter-in-law Angela (Price) Conner both of Everett; grandchildren Garrett and Larissa (Cessna) Conner, Jordan and Alisha (Childers) Conner all of Clearville; great grandchildren Bentlee Conner, Weston Conner, Dalton Shaw and Spencer Shaw; brother Michael and Sue (Duvall) Conner, of Everett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents Gus was preceded in death by six sisters Donna J. Dicken, Sara Jane Conner, May Joyce Conner, Shirley Kay King and Peggy J. Markham; eight brothers Robert Conner, Richard Conner, Edward Conner, Wayne Conner, David Conner, Karl Conner, Timothy Conner and Jerry Conner.

Mr. Conner was active in the Mountain Chapel Church congregation, also former member of Rays Cove Christian Church.

After graduating Everett High School in 1960, Gus served in the United States Air Force till 1964. He then began working for the carpentry union and later retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1994.

He was a member of the Everett Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. No. 524.

Gus was a devoted husband and enjoyed every moment spent with his son and grandkids. He did as much as possible outside, hunting or just being out in the barn.

Burial will be held at Rays Cove Church Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Everett Area Honor Guard.
