Ruth Mae Chilcutt, the daughter of late Doyle W. Ray and the late Fannie Stricklin Ray, was born Wednesday, July 26, 1939 in Rector, Arkansas.

On April 5, 1978 in Kennett, Missouri, Ruth was united in marriage to John Melvin Chilcutt, who preceded her in death on October 21, 2003.

Ruth was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. While living in Kennett, she was a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ in Kennett, Missouri.

Ms. Chilcutt died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her home in Poplar Bluff at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 30 days.

She is survived by 1 son Jimmy Earl Webb of Poplar, Bluff; 1 daughter Cynthia Lynn Pickard of Kennett; 2 grandsons Daniel P. Webb of Potosi, Missouri and Christopher C. Webb and wife Teresa of Poplar Bluff; 2 granddaughter Jessica S. Pickard of Kennett and Shanna M. Crumley and husband Adam of Portageville, Missouri; 5 great grandchildren Carson Webb, Lauren Webb, Carter Webb, Grayson Webb and Harper Grace Crumley; 1 brother Dewayne Ray of Cahokia, Illinois; 1 sister Caroline Ray of Cahokia ; 1 step daughter Kathy Shefler of Batesville, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas with Mr. Vernon Curry officiating. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
