Jerry Paul Lindsey, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Lindsey was a devoted Christian, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He pastored several churches and preached for over 40 years. He always made sure his family had everything they needed, and leaves a lifetime of memories.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 01, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel and funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 02, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Jonesboro Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Campbell and parents, Paul James and Bertha Louise (Mansell) Lindsey. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of almost 60 years, Mary Ruth Prince Lindsey; children: Cindy Lawler (husband, Kevin), Randy Lindsey (wife, Linda), Robbi Head (husband, Bart); son-in-law, Freddie Campbell; grandchildren: Chris White, Amanda Thomas, Lexie Lawler, Brad Lindsey, Rick Lindsey, Timothy “T.O.” Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Cody Kent, Brent Head, Lindsay Kent, Baylee Kent, Sydney Head, Dustin Kent and Brooklyn Kent; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Darnell.
