John Mack Fincher, 77, died Monday, May 27, 2019. He was born June 17, 1941 in Clarksville, Arkansas, the youngest son of the late Emzlie Jeff and Agnes McSwain Fincher.

John was a graduate of Clarksville High School, the university of Arkansas School of Pharmacy and Southern Methodist University of Law. For many years, he worked in private practice and then was an Assistant Attorney General before moving to work for the Governor. A gentle man, with a wicked sense of humor, he will be remembered by many.

He had three half sisters and a half brother who preceded him in death.

Survivors: his children, Sue Ellen Fincher of Little Rock, AR, Jay Freeman Fincher of Tulsa, OK and John Fletcher Fincher of Pearland, TX; brother, Bobby Lee Fincher of Denton, Texas; niece, Kimberly; nephew, Jeff of Denton, TX.
