Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at the age of 74 years. Doreen is survived by her devoted husband, Roy; her three children, Dan (Lorri) Williams, Heather (John) Flanagan and Shelley (Brian) Leis. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Trevor, Stephanie, Brent, Shawn, Scott, Christine, Jessica, Evan, Tyler, and Katelynn. Doreen was predeceased by her brother, Robert Frey. Doreen was a life member of U.C.W. and Calvary Memorial United Church, also a member of the choir and the quilting group. She was passionate about sewing, quilting and crafts. Friends are invited to share their memories of Doreen with her family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Doreen's life will be held at Calvary Memorial United Church, 91 Gruhn St., Kitchener, on Wednesday, December 22, at 1: 30 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the church hall. a private family internment will take place. A special thanks to the staff of Johnston House for their wonderful care and support.
