Dear grandfather of Greg, Gina, Kellie and Kevin Canter, Erica Bowen and Sean Adams. Brother to John, Paul, Charles, Ray (Jan), Jim (Betty), sister to Millie (Dave) Boothby and the late Maxine. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2001. Bethel, Ohio. Age 82 years. World War II Army Veteran and retired Teamster. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Kennedy-Stevens Funeral Home. Visitation 1-2 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in the Tate Township Cemetery, in Bethel concluding with full Military Honors. Memorials to Bethel Life Squad.
