Robert G. Bullard, 74, was a son of Paul and Dorothy Colwell Bullard. He married Joan Schultz on Nov. 19, 1983, in Kankakee, Illinois.

Also surviving are three sons, Todd Bullard, Paul Bullard, Cornell; and James (Denise) Schultz, two daughters, Missy (Arturo) Lopez and Chrissy (Jay) Ledford, one sister, Ruth (Warren) Orr, and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; one brother; and son, Scott Bullard, who died in 1978.

Bob spent his entire working career in the coil business. He was assistant to the president of Coils, Inc. for 20 years. In 1985 he was co-owner and founder of U.S. Co-Tronics in Fairbury,Illinois until retirement in 2000. Bob was the inventor and patent holder for a nickel-cadmium battery charger he invented. He was a graduate of Sheldon High School, Sheldon, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of VFW, Dwight, and Pontiac Elks Lodge.

Bob loved oil painting, woodworking, gardening and most of all his children and grandchildren, and his beloved dog and companion, Buster. He will be missed by family and friends.
