Bobbie Jean (Brown) Wilson, 70, passed away May 26, 2019. She was born to Edna Mae and Rufus Brown on Feb. 14, 1949, in Tatum, Texas.
She retired from Delco Electronics after 34 years of service.
Bobbie Jean leaves to cherish her memory husband, Glenn Wilson; sons, Orlandis Brown, Perryn Brown (Tracy), Brandon and Brenton Wilson and Brian Stone, all of Kokomo, and Tyreon Brown (Dionna), of Fort Wayne; adopted daughters, Kim Jackson, Cyrenthia Jordan, Trina Jackson, LaTasha Hawkins and Tiffany Richmond, all of Marion; brothers, Rufus Brown Jr. and Julius Brown, of Kokomo; sisters, Billie Joyce (Will) Darden, Royce Ann Bennett, Michele Jones and Karen Williams, all of Kokomo; 25 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of godchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; caregiver, Missy Tyler; and best friend, Adrian Whitehead.
Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Edna Mae Brown; siblings, Armitrus and Tina Marie Brown, Tyrone Brown and Ricky Jackson.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Missionary Baptist Church, with calling from 9 a.m. until service time. The Rev. Dr. William J. Smith Jr. will officiate. Final interment will be Monday, June 3, 2019, at Marion National Cemetery.
