August 13,1945- Pilot News- MANGUN INFANT - Ralph Mangun infant son of Carl Mangun and Nancy R. Thomas died at birth at 5 a.m. this morning. Three other children Survive. The body was taken to the Johnson Funeral Home and the burial this afternoon took place in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Another loss, their daughter Darlene Lois Mangun (Twin)born 14 Oct 1936 lived for 19 days and died 3 November 1936 in Teegarden. Burial in Union Cemetery. .
November 4,1942 - Pilot News - Dorotha Mangun - 5 month old daughter of Mr.& Mrs Carl Mangun of Lapaz died at 3:20 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the home. She was born in North Township May 29,1942 and survived by her parents, three sisters Marlene,Erma and Ada M. and one brother Dale and grandparents George Thomas of Teegarden and Mrs.Ida (Gillis)Mangun of Lapaz . Friends may call at the Hartman Home in Lakeville where services will be held a 2:00 Thursday afternoon. Rev H.K. Joyce, pastor of Lakeville Methodist Church in charge. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in North Township.
