It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Charles Hanna announce his passing on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 5:45 A.M., at Arkansas Hospice, after becoming ill at the age of 55. He was born June 2, 1963 in Arcadia, California.

Mike grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved throughout his adult life between there and Texas. To be closer to his daughter and father, he had been living in Hot Springs, Arkansas for a few years, before his death. Mike's family and friends speak about how special he was and how fortunate they were to have known him. They recall him as being fiercely loyal, sweet and warm. They were thankful for how he was there when they needed him and they say he was very gentle, hardworking and always supportive. They reminisce that it felt good to be around him and how much they will miss him.

He will be lovingly and forever remembered by his daughter, Haley Hanna; parents, Sharon and Charles Hanna; brother, James Hanna; sister, Jill Hanna; and a multitude of friends and co-workers.

Those of us who knew Mike lost a shining light in our lives. Mike had so much goodness and was taken from this life too soon. The world will be lesser without him.

in lieu of flowers, please donate to Arkansas Hospice in Mike's name.
