Nancy Kay (Griffith) Lunsford
1950 – 2019

Nancy Kay Lunsford passed away on May 24, 2019,69, in her home in Fort Walton Beach, Fl after an 8-month battle with Stage IV cancer. At death she was singing with her "greatest accomplishments", (her daughter and 3 of her granddaughters), and with a smile on her face.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Arthur Griffith, Jr.; mother, Dollie Mae (Corbett) Griffith; and brothers, Bobby Richard, Roger, and Byron Kelly.

She is survived by her husband, of 48 years Lt Col Jerry W. Lunsford, USAF (Ret); their three children, Jerry Brian Lunsford (Kara Sue Lunsford), Kelly Ann (Lunsford) Isaac (Stephen Thomas Isaac), and Carolyn Marie Lunsford; brothers and sisters, Peggy Ann, Edgar Arthur, and Janis Darlene; ten grandchildren, Tyler Brian Lunsford, Breanna Kay Lunsford, Malachi Jordan Isaac, Isaiah William Isaac, Elijah Paul Isaac, Lindley Marie Lunsford, Kaylin Marie King, Tristen Gregory Lunsford, Krysta Rose Metz, and Josephine Tara Lunsford.

Nancy was a loving and devoted nurse, daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and wife. She will be remembered by her family and friends as the most generous, joyous, and caring person in all our lives. That she always put others before herself and whose faith in God sustained her for her entire life. Her joys were reading her bible and spending time with her family. Nancy loved to sing old show tunes and had a whistle that could be heard the next block over. Nancy we will all miss you until we meet at the resurrection. Love you madly!
