Raymond W. Boyles, Retired TSGT, age 84, passed away at his home on March 4, 2015. Raymond was born November 24, 1930, and graduated from Newport News High School in Virginia. He was the star quarterback, and earned the nickname “Rifleman”. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1972, and moved to Savannah. After his career in the Air Force, Raymond went to work with WJCL Communications, and ultimately retired in the late 1990’s from Savannah Communications. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He was very devoted to his family, and enjoyed sports and supporting their sporting events. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of over thirty years, Remy Sicay Boyles, daughter Beth Cribbs Larson, son Greg M. Sicay (Tracy), grandchildren Jordan Cribbs, Cassie Cribbs, Luke Larson, Noah Sicay, and Joshua Sicay, and one sister. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 7 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, with Bishop David Norris officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
