Larry "Gene" Neely Sr., 62, of Marysville, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2001 in Marysville OH. Larry was a chef.

Born December 23, 1939, in Lerona, he was the son of the late Wallace Jennings Neely (1916-1993) and Irene C. Cox-Neely of Lerona (1920-1977).

Survivors include his ex-wife, Mary Wicker-Neely; son, Larry Gene Neely Jr. & wife Pam Neely of Marysville; daughters, Rhonda Neely-Sandt of Columbus OH, Lisa Neely of Phoenix AZ, and Malinda Neely-Wyckoff & husband Luke Wyckoff of Laurelville OH; sisters, Lila Neely-Martin (1938-2012) & husband Wesley "Richard" Martin of Athens, Ruby Jewell Neely-Nelson (1946-2018) of Lake Orion MI, and Marsha Karen Neely-Edwards of True; brother, Jessie "Ray" Neely & wife Elizabeth Neely of Columbus; and thirteen grandchildren.

After cremation, there will be a graveside memorial service at 1:00 p.m. today at the Knob ‘Neely’ Cemetery in Pipestem. His remains will be buried between his parents. Rev. Bobby Holcomb will be officiating.
