A homemaker, Mrs. Wise enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, and crochet. She was a member of the Fawn Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon R. Wise of Bel Air, Md., and Rachel A. Blair and her husband, Dallas of Brunswick, Md.; four siblings, Betty Townsley, Roseanna Frey, Charles Holtzinger, and Harold Holtzinger, all of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by two siblings, Delma Winand and Anna Sloat.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013, from 2 to 3 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta. Brother James Torbert from her Kingdom Hall will officiate. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Fawn Grove Kingdom Hall, 987 Brown Road, New Park, PA 17352.
