Gary went home to be with our Lord February 8th 2017. He was born to Thelma and Ham Potter on January 19th 1934 in Sacramento, California. During his time in Sacramento, Gary worked as an ambulance driver where he met and married his first wife Marion. They had 2 daughters together. He then worked as a milk driver for Borden's. Gary was transferred to Modesto in December 1964 as a supervisor for Borden's until the company was dissolved and worked for Frito Lay where he retired as a Teamster member. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed golf and horse racing. Gary is preceded in death by Marion in February 1981 and leaves behind his wife Audrey of 33 years, daughters Debbie, Cheri and their spouses John and Tom, Grandsons Michael, Bryan, Jared and wife Steffany, granddaughter Lindsey and great-grandsons Javan and Chase. Gary, also, leaves behind his step-sons Rick, Roger and wife Shirley, step-daughter Diana and step-granddaughters Emily and Carly. Gary loved his family and four "kitties' very much and will be greatly missed by all of us. A private family gathering will be held in memory of Gary and his life. Any donations to a favorite charity in memory of Gary will be appreciated. Rest in Peace Gary, Dad, Grandpa and Papa Potter.
