The Evening Star
7 March 1934, page A-9
SNOOK, MARY C. On Wednesday, March 7, 1934, at her residence, Chain Bridge rd. near Tysons Corner, Va., MARY C. SNOOK, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Snook and mother of Harry W. Snook of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Mabel E. Scrivener. Remains resting at the Ives funeral home, 310 Wilson Blvd., Clarendon, Va. Funeral Friday, March 9, at 2 p.m., from Ives' chapel. Interment Lewinsville Cemetery, Lewinsville, Va.
According to her death certificate she was born in 1847 and died 7 March 1934. Her grave marker mistakenly say she passed away in 1933. I've corrected the death date on this memorial to reflect the dates from the certificate. The informant for the death certificate was her daughter, Mabel Emma Scrivener. Also her birth date as shown on the 1900 Census is Sep 1849.
