Gregory L. Ellis, age 62, of Anderson, passed away Aug. 26, 2016, after an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 19, 1954, in Elwood, the son of Roy T. and Barbara (Shaw) Ellis. Gregory graduated from Madison Heights High School and Taylor University. He worked for Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center.
Gregory is survived by his mother, Barbara Ellis, of Anderson; son, Jeffrey (Roselyn) Ellis, of La Crosse, Wisconsin; granddaughters, Abigail Jane Ellis and Joanna Scarlet Ellis; and sister, Cindy (J.O.) Miller of Gary, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ellis, and brother, Brian Ellis
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Cross Roads United Methodist Church with Pastor John Hackney officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Roads United Methodist Church.
