BOSSIER CITY, LA - Garrett Adam Jones passed away suddenly at home on January 15, 2004. Garrett was born at HCA Highland Hospital on August 15, 1989 and lived in Bossier City all of his life. He was in the 9th grade at Parkway High School and was an avid sports fan. Garret loved to hunt and fish, play golf and football.
He is survived by his parents, Scott F. and Brenda S. Jones; maternal grandparent, E. J. and Nell Stephens of Natchitoches, LA; paternal grandparents William R., Sr. and Phyllis A. Jones, of Bossier City, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Terry G. Stephens.
Visitation will be at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80 East in Haughton, on Sunday, January 18, 2004 from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Bellaire Baptist Church, 1210 Bellaire Blvd. in Bossier City, with Dr. Randy Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Coaches of Parkway High School: Jim Gatlin, Brian Hollingsworth and Eric Flowers and 9th grade football players Scott Thompson, Terry Josting, Tristan Cooksey and Brady Dulaney.
Honorary pallbearers will be Coaches David Rush and Mark Tabor of Elm Grove Middle School.
