Kevin Williamson Sr., 53, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, due to complications caused by H1N1.
He was born May 23, 1960, the son of Loren Williamson (deceased) and Judy Braden Williamson.
He loved the outdoors and worked as a hunting guide at Windsor Woods, which he helped to build over a 3-1/2 year time span. He loved collecting unique items and making things with his hands. He was not known to be idle very often.
Survivors include: his mother, Judy, of Watseka; two sons: Kevin Jr. (Kai) Williamson of Oak Ridge, TN and Kenneth "Kenny" McDonald of Lobeiville, TN; siblings: Kim (Don) Rabe of Crescent City, Kandi Williamson (Mike DiTella) of Cary, and Kyle (Samantha) Williamson of Shelbyville, TN; two grandchildren: Brayden and Joscelyn, of Oak Ridge; special uncle and aunt, Ray "Razor" and Bev Wilkerson of Forsyth, MO; a brother-in-law, Dan Canada of Clifton; several nephews: Jeremiah Rabe of Crescent City, Brett Canada of Watseka, Jesse Rabe of Watseka, Shawn Canada of Clifton, Matt Rogers of Unionville, TN, Hans Rabe of Crescent City and Nathan Rogers of Chattanooga, TN; several great-nieces and nephews; an aunt, Sharon (Ray) Smith of Sheldon and uncle, Lee "Chub" Williamson of Gilman.
Also surviving are members of his surrogate family: John H. Chrysler and sons Rhett and Kirby, of Lawrenceburg.
Kevin also leaves behind several cousins, which include: Jim Wallen, Sue Foglesong, Bruce Harper and BJ Harper, all of Watseka; Tom Braden, Tim Braden, John Braden, Cheryl Braden and Jim Braden, all from the general area of Woodson; Tom Williamson of Gilman, Dean and Mel Willamson of Sheldon, Donna Williamson-Martin of Martinton, Theresa Williamson DePew of Danville, Tim Williamson and Pat Carlson of Sheldon, Penny Wolfe of Florida, Roy Williamson of the Martinton area and Lori Hickman of Watseka..
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia, TN, was in charge of Kevin's cremation.
A family memorial and the scattering of ashes will take place on Kevin's birthday in May at Windsor Woods.
