Francis E. Rains, 42, 5014 Illinois St., Loves Park, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1964 in Rockford, IL.
Born March 17, 1922, in Rensselaer, Ind., son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnes M. Rains.

He lived 21 years in Rockford, coming here from Indiana. Married to Nioclina Maurchie in Rockford Aug. 21, 1948. Employed as a machinist by Ingersoll Milling Machine Co. for 11 years. Member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and of Rockford Chapter of the National Association of the Deaf, Indiana Alumni Association for the Deaf and the Rockford Model T Ford Club.

Survivors include; his widow; three daughters, Joyce, Karen and Sally, all at home and two brothers, John and Russell Rains, both of Rockford.
