She married Alton Haynes. Her career included real estate agent, bookkeeper and babysitting.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, famous for her pies and tarts. After she retired, she assisted in caring for children while their parents worked.
Surviving are a son, Alton Haynes (Jackie) of Evanston, IL; daughter Gisele Harris of Pawtucket, RI; granddaughters Gabrielle (Harris) Ertle of Pawtucket, RI; Brittany Haynes of Brooklyn, NY; Alexine Haynes of Tuscon, AZ; great-granddaughters Tatiana Ertle and Camille Ertle of Pawtucket, RI; sister Linda (Bishop) Holmes of Malone, NY and brother William Bishop (Joan) of Athens, AL.
She was predeceased by sisters Elsie Bailey, Yvonne Nowicki, Rose O'Neil, Delores Dufore, Gloria Mosier, and brother Charles Bishop, II.
