Just before she was murdered, Katina Moyer, a junior at Amarillo High School, had decided to follow in her father's footsteps and become an attorney, and she had applied for Girls State, Nancy Moyer said.
"She had just made up her mind," her mother said.
The high school student was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spirit Club and the student council. She had been a cheerleader at Crockett Junior High.
