Survivors include three sons Palmer Yates and Darrell Lee Yates both of Honaker and Elmer Yates of Norwalk, Ohio, four daughters Katherine Yates Creasy of Mulberry Grove,Illinois, Naomi Yates of Honaker, Velma Yates Lawson of Harold, Loretta Yates Boyd of Vermillion, Ohio one brother, Marion Yates of Honaker
