Kathy grew up in Oak Park, Michigan where she attended K-12 school and then attended Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree with a mathematics major.
After college she attended a computer programming course after which she worked for Bendix Industrial Machine Controls, Dynapath, Fanuc Robotics and TRW Automotive until her retirement in 2008.
Kathy was diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment in 2008 which progressed to Alzheimer’s. She died in 2018 from Alzheimer’s Disease.
