Jane was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 30, 1950 to James Dail and Mary Sue Parks.

Jane was a Baptist by faith and a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, especially her little hill in Doddridge, Arkansas. She enjoyed fishing when she had the opportunity, riding the back roads looking around the next turn in the road for wildflowers and unusual things on the unbeaten path. At times she loved to quilt, make wreaths, all sorts of crafts, canning fresh garden produce and living the country life. She especially loved her family. Jane was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her three children, Ronald Lee Dale Yerby, Jonathan Durnell Yerby and wife Sharon Bolan-Yerby, Amy Sue Yerby; six siblings, Larry Parks and wife Donna, Sandra Parks, Carol Smith and husband Brad, Patsy Whatley and husband Dexter, David Parks and wife Jeanette, Linda Horton and husband Dutch; seven grandchildren, Ashlee Jane Brown, Adrian Stephenson, Emily Jane Reimer, Grace Sophia Yerby, Ryan Galloway, Ethan Martin, Taylor Martin; a number of nieces, nephews and her faithful companion “Buddy”.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, June 21, 2019 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. George Goynes officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Church fellowship hall.

A private burial will follow the fellowship.
