Baird - John Treadaway, 33, went to be with the Lord June 15, 2007. Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 19th, at Parker Funeral Home in Baird, with Chaplain Jack Smith officiating. Interment will be at Ross Cemetery, Spencer-Price Addition, in Baird. A memorial service will be held at the Abilene State School Chapel at a later date. There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. on Monday, June 18th, at Parker Funeral Home.

He was born on June 29, 1973, in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in Baird, Texas, and lived the past 11 years at Abilene State School. John was loved by many, and had several nicknames, including "Bubba," "Buckshot," and "Sweet Pea." He enjoyed music, books, and being with loved ones. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving parents, John and Rita Treadaway of Baird, Texas; a sister, Stephanie Plait and husband Eric, and his two nephews, Evan John and Ethan Max Plait, all of Edwards Air Force Base, California; his Grandmother Ruth Treadaway of Miles, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Annabel and Papaw Phillip Arellano, and Granddad Stanley Treadaway.

Memorials may be made to the Abilene State School and Hendrick Hospice in Abilene. Special thanks to Abilene State School and Hospice Care for their loving care of John.
