Christena Victoria Holt was daughter of Thomas and India Holt and was born December 29, 1888in Douglas County, Mo. She departed this life August 11, 1969 in the home of a daughter Maxine McCall, Mtn. Grove, Mo., at the age 80 years 7 months and 12 days.
Having obeyed the gospel early in life, she united with the Gum Springs Baptist church, later moving her membership to General Baptist church.
In 1902 she was united in marriage to George E. Freeman, and to this union 12 children were born, seven of which preceded her in death, as did her husband. Later she was married to Martin Amidon, and he preceded her in death December 22, 1957.
Funeral services were conducted 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Elliott-Gentry Chapel. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery near Ann.
