My grandad had a laugh that everyone found cute, he was a big man, very tall and use to love gardening when he could but sadly his disability stopped him from doing that.

He loved watching the birds in his garden for hours on end and loved animals.
My grandad loved all the black and white films especially Laurel and Hardy.

During the 2nd War my Grandad was a cook for the soldiers and his last job was at Rye House Dogs Stadium as a groundmans which he loved.

Grandad died at home from a heart attack, his daughter, my mum, was with him.

Grandad's ashes were interred with his parents in the Garden of Remembrance at Waltham Abbey Church.
