John W. Bauer, 61 years old, died Wednesday, November 12th, at his home at 1144 Garfield Avenue. A lifetime resident of Kansas City, Kansas, he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Loreita Bauer; two sons, John W. Bauer Jr., of 412 North Tenth Street in Kansas City, Kansas, and George E. Bauer of the home; five daughters, Miss Anna Mary Bauer and Miss Rose Marie Bauer, both of the home, Mrs. Orville Bannister of Basehor, Kansas, Mrs. Albert H. Velghe of Wichita and Mrs. Martin L. Wren of 2925 Van Brunt Boulevard; a sister, Mrs. Katie Carter, of 3534 Central Street and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday morning at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Burial followed at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
