Jessica Lynne Reeves, age 27, passed away July 26, 2017 at U of M Hospital, Ann Arbor. She was known simply as Jess by her friends and family. A graduate of Dexter High School and then Aveda Institute, Jess worked as a hair stylist at Whit’s End Hair Studio in Dexter, where she lived with her mother and father. She enjoyed people, loved her job and the many friends she worked and socialized with. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4th at 1:00pm at the Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 3410 Broad St., Dexter, MI 48130. She is survived by her parents Toni and Jack, and new family puppy Rocco, her aunts and uncles; Terri and Doug Amerman, Larry Reeves and Linda Reeves, cousins; Dan and Amber Amerman, Tim and Dawn Amerman. In addition, all of the staff and customers at Whit’s End and her boyfriend, Casey Dixon of Trenton, MI. She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Tony and Shirley Bell. During her short life Jess was able to travel to numerous places in the US and enjoy a variety of athletic and artistic activities. Anyone that knew Jess knows how much she loved animals, frogs, her Hedgehog Hazel, artwork and music. She was warm and friendly and had a great sense of humor. Jess will be missed by all who knew her.The family wishes to thank the staff of Whit’s End Studio for all the support they have shown Jess.
