Hugh T. Coon, 46, of Dayton Route 1, a former Lima resident died at his home Friday afternoon from complications, following an extended illness. Coon was a native of Paulding Co.
Surviving are his wife, Cora; his mother. Mrs. Martha Coon Berry, Lima; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Gudgeon, Dayton; five sons, Milton, Kenneth, Thomas, Donald and Robert, at home; a brother, John Coon, Route 1 Dayton; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hammer, Dayton; Mrs. Dora Geiger. Lima. Six grandchildren also survive.
The body will be taken to Dayton Sunday morning. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am. Monday at the Polk Grove church, west of Vandalia, with the Rev. William Ward officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
