Donna L. Gardner, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids left the loving arms of her family and went to the loving arms of her God on Monday July 17, 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Donna was born November 22, 1933 in Carnegie, OK to William and Sallie (Hokeah) Bointy. She graduated from Fort Sill Military School. Donna served in the US Navy during the Korean War. She married Jere Gardner on November 8, 1953 in Pasagoula, Mississippi.
Donna was previously employed by the UW Extension Turnkey Project and by the Social Security Office in Wisconsin Rapids. She was also the former owner and director of Kids Korner Child Center.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Jere Gardner; her children Bill (Rita) Gardner of Black River Falls, Robert Gardner of Wisconsin Rapids, Barry (Mary Lou) Gardner of Wisconsin Rapids and Kimberly Robison of Wisconsin Rapids; ten grandchildren Nicholas Gardner, Daniel Gardner, JD Gardner, Danielle Gardner, Jesse Gardner, Alexandra Gardner, Allyssa Robison, Kristy Norton, Austin Lester and Timothy Gardner; seven great grandchildren; one brother Joseph William Bointy of Anadarko ,OK and one sister Edna Bointy of Anadarko, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eleven siblings; Vincent Bointy, Charlotte Bointy Doxtator, Ronald Jack Bointy, Wallace Linn Bointy, Daniel Gordon Bointy, Mary Beth Josh, Harrison Bointy, Archie Curley, Billie Rose, and two infant sisters; Sandra Lou, and Baby Girl Bointy.
