Christopher Wayne Orr was born May 27th, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Oklahoma in late 1968. Known as “Mr GQ” by his friends, he was the second oldest of eleven. Chris' first love was baseball which he instilled in his oldest son Damion. He started playing the sport as a young kid and continued through junior high. In high school his talent for singing and dancing would involve him in the show choir. In 1986, he graduated from Choctaw High School. After the birth of his sons Damion and Kiley, whom he shared with former wife Raquel Orr, Chris would be focused on coaching their baseball and basketball teams, and even being a referee from time to time. His coaching also impacted many other young men, and was known to be there for all of them and anyone who needed help. In his free time he loved fishing with his boys and dad, and watching his two favorite teams, the Oklahoma Sooners and OKC Thunder.

Chris is survived by his parents Jay and Margaret Orr; his sons Damion Orr, Kiley Orr, and Draveen Orr; his sister Teresa Laudermilk and her husband Allen; former wife Raquel Orr; sister Beth Orr, sister Kari Stevenson and her fiance Mike Vela, brother Matt Orr and wife Mai Randall; sister Jayna Shepherd and husband Casey; sister Rebecca Conner and husband John; sister Hannah Davis and husband Billy; brother Jose Orr; and sisters Carlye Orr and Mia Orr; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held 2:00pm Friday, May 31, 2019 at Midwest Boulevard Christian Church in Midwest City, OK.
