NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ida D. Lewis, 64, of North Hollywood, and formerly of Warren, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at her home.
Ida was born April 9, 1955, in Warren the daughter of the late Willie Lewis Sr. and Ruby Russ McCoy.
She was employed in sales with Macy’s Department Stores for over 20 years. Ida had a strong work ethic and lived life to its fullest.
Fond memories of Ida will be forever remembered by her two sons, Marlowe Lewis of Hawaii and Michael Lewis of Warren; two sisters, Rosland Stewart of Liberty and Elizabeth E. Lewis of Warren; a brother, Walter Lewis of Warren; nine grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her siblings, Sandra Bowler, Willie Lewis Jr., Jeanette Lewis and Ronnie Lewis.
Family will receive friends noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren. A going home service celebrating the life of Ida will take place 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
