Delbert James Muffett 86 of Wilmore, Ky and formerly of Glasgow, KY died Saturday, December 29, 2001 at the Saint Josephs Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born in Daviess Co., KY he was the son of the late Lewis & Sena Winkler Muffett and husband of the late Lexie Abbott Muffett. He was a member of the Bon Ayr Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include 1 son James Muffett of Poplar Bluff, MO; 1 daughter Faye Campbell of Ekron, KY; 2 brothers Orvil & Kennard Muffett both of Owensboro, KY; 3 sisters Rachel Estes, Marcella Nicely & Ruby Ward of Owensboro, KY; 2 grandchildren Stephenie Hankins of Summer Shade, KY and James Muffett, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, MO and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
