www.kesslerfh.com. Charles Durham, 66, Neenah, passed away peacefully after a long illness Saturday, May 28, 2011. He was born July 1, 1944, in Fredonia, Kansas, son of Leonard and Bonnie (Baughn) Durham. Charles married Bonnie L. Welsch August 18, 1973, in Appleton. Charles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Neenah Ward. He was employed at Ameritech until his retirement. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was a devoted volunteer for the Boy Scouts and local soccer leagues. Mr. Durham was a U.S. Navy veteran. Charles is survived by his mother, Bonnie O.B.Durham, Mt. Pleasant, Utah; wife, Bonnie L. Durham; 4 sons: Edward (Tammy) Durham, Walsenburg, CO; Steven (Heather) Durham, Appleton; Mark (Carey) Durham, Redgranite; Tim (Salina) Durham, Shiocton; 9 grandchildren: Megan, Marney and Owen Durham; Joe and Jonathan Blocker; Karissa, Evan, Alyssa and Brayden Durham; survived by his 4 sisters and their families along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Leonard Durham; father-in-law, Henry Welsch; 3 nephews: Alex Soderborg, Scott Kligg and Jeffrey Jacklin. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Neenah Ward, 115 Castle Oak Dr., Neenah, with Bishop Tyler King officiating. Interment will be in a local cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at the Kessler Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 12:00 p.m. Friday at the church until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Charles name for the Boy Scouts of America. Charles family wishes to thank Fresenius Dialysis Services of Neenah and staff along with Affinity Medical Group, Neenah Drs., nurses and staff for their loving care and compassion.
