Barbara Anne Walton, age 91, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio. She was born June 18, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Clyburn and Margaret East Clyburn. Barbara retired from Austin Powder Company. She loved to travel and she enjoyed working with flowers in her yard and taking care of her pets. Barbara is survived by her children, Judith Douglas (Keith), Janet Lee Bangert, Margaret "Kathy" McCoy (John), John Watters (Joyce) and Donald Joseph Watters; daughter-in-law, Karen Watters; step-son, Paul E. "Buddy" Walton, Jr.; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. "Bud" Walton, Sr.; daughter, Emily Jane Watters Leach; sons, David "Duck" Watters and Arthur Franklin Watters; and grandson, Arthur Franklin Watters, Jr. At the request of Barbara, her body was cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with inurnment in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
