Mrs. Sandra Griffin Murray, age 74, a resident of Montgomery (formerly of Eufaula), died early Thursday May 9, 2019 at her residence after an extended illness. Graveside services were held at 1 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Epworth Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. The family received family and friends from 10 until 12:30, Tuesday, May 14, at Glover Funeral Home in Eufaula. Mrs. Murray was born on February 26, 1945 in Eufaula the daughter of Robert Edge and Doris Elizabeth Petty. She lived most of her adult lifetime in Florida and lived the past 6 years in Montgomery. Mrs. Murray worked as a manager with convenience stores and she was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a special father, Sidney Dean Miles. Survivors include: husband, Willard Murray, Montgomery; two daughters, Ann Spriggs (Michael), Montgomery; Diana Bennett (Ray) New Port Richey, Fl.; one son, James Murray (Cathy), Westerville, OH.; brother, Dean Miles (Peggy), Columbus, GA.; sister, Brenda McDonald, Buford, GA.; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
