Mrs. Euline Gilpin, age 76 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Gilpin was born in Walker County. She was a daycare provider for many children, and was a dedicated worker for Lanier for many years before she became disabled. She was a member of Mayfield Church of Christ, a devout christian, loving wife of 58 years, loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband; James Edward Gilpin of Fayette, son; Eddy Gilpin (Jeanny) of Salem, VA, daughter; Rebecca Driver (Fred) of Fayette, brother; Rayford Taylor of Talladega, sister; Marcella Richards (Lyn D) of Fayette, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Charlie Grady and Mary Alice Taylor, and a son; Randy Gilpin.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mayfield Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be; Kyle Gilpin, Nick Gilpin, Cory Driver, Colby Driver, Fred Driver, and Joe Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are; great grandchildren, Dr. Christian and Staff, Ellen's Flower Shop, and her church family at Mayfield Church of Christ.
