Mr. Christopher Lee Hunt, age 20 of Old Highway # 109, Lexington, NC died Thursday, May 23 as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident which occurred on NC Highway # 47 in Randolph County.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 28 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Bradley Testerman.
Burial was made in Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville.
The family received friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton, and at other times they will be at the residence.
Mr. Hunt was born in Guilford County on July 29, 1998. He was a graduate of South Davidson High School and was employed with Mid-State Trailers in Denton.
He is survived by his mother and father, Jennifer Scarlett Hunt and Scotty Hunt; brothers, Tyler Soles and Rocky Hunt both of Lexington; sister Scarlett Hunt of Lexington; grandparents, Rocky and Betty Hunt, Don and Lynne Scarlett all of Lexington; great grandmother, Joyce York of Cherryville; aunt, Angie (Jeff) Smith; uncles, Chris (Jenny) Scarlett, Robert (Laura) Scarlett, Tony (Bridget) Scarlett, and Shane (Pam)Moore; special extended family Richard and April Stargardt and Cassi; cousins, Brittany, Brooke, Jordan, Landon, Cheyenne, Kensley, Zane, Mylah and Paisley. Special family, William and Lisa Shaw; several great uncles and aunts and many friends who loved him dearly.
