Mrs. Wanda Forest Evans, age 56, of Spout Spring, died on May 7, 2019, in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Lloyd Samuel Forest and Mrs. Mary Margaree Marshall Forest. She was married to Mr. Darnell Anthony Evans. She is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, Mr. Darnell Evans of Spout Spring; one son, Kevin Andrew Evans (Destine) of Appomattox; two grandchildren, Christian Elijah Evans and Peyton Amare Evans, of Appomattox; sisters and brothers, Shirley Robertson (Rudolph), Lloyd S. Forest Jr. (Grace), and Darlene Forest Reed, all of Appomattox, Ann Forest Thomas Franklin (Vance) of Phenix, and Frank Edward Forest of Lynchburg; father-in-law, Mr. Charlie A. Evans of Appomattox; sister-in-law, Lynn M. Evans of Appomattox; brother-in-law, Charlie W. Evans (Vernice)of Appomattox; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Promise Land Baptist Church in Appomattox, with a viewing one hour prior to service. The interment will be held in the church cemetery. A public viewing will begin Friday, May 10, 2019, from 12 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
