He is survived by two brothers, Maurice D. Banks, Jr. and wife Pranee of Winston-Salem, NC and Walter R. Banks and wife Joyce of Universal City, TX; and a sister, Marguerite Banks Johnson of Huntsville, AL; nephews, Roy Chapman of Greenwood, Jeff Banks of Austin, TX, Tony Johnson of Heflin, AL and Tim Johnson of Huntsville, AL; two nieces, Kimberlee Banks Blaylock of Winston-Salem, NC, and Melissa Banks Howe of Greensboro, NC; cousins,, L.V. Rudder, Jr. of Calhoun Falls, Mary Rudder Staples of Greenwood, Shirley Rose Rudder Smith of Carrollton, GA, Margaret Rudder Johnson of Calhoun Falls, Steve Rudder of Calhoun Falls and Leroy Watts of Ft. Meade, FL.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
