Mary Evelyn Broyles Burnette, 90 of New Hope, AL passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth Broyles and Walter Broyles; sister, Ruth Wells Dyer; husband, C.L. "Jack" Burnette; son, Kenny Burnette; stepson, Jerry Burnette.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, two sons, stepson, three grandchildren and a brother.
Mary was retired from Chrysler Corporation. She was a member of Big Cove Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid flower gardener and had a love of animals, especially puppies. Mary was known for her great sense of wit and kept that wonderful trait until her passing. She was also a huge Alabama Football fan, ROLL TIDE! She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Alacare Home Health and Hospice for their love and support in caring for Mary.
