Timothy Dean Wells, 60 of North Vernon, passed away at 12:11 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born on June 21, 1958 in Indianapolis the son of Lewis Wells and Audrey Mae (Adams) Newman.
Timothy had lived a majority of his life in Brownsburg and Pittsboro and has lived the past year in North Vernon. He had worked for Car X. He enjoyed fishing, riding his golf cart and camping.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristie Wright of Sullivan, IN, Melissa Wells of Louisiana, Candi Mize of Beech Grove, IN, Ruthellen Wells of Brownsburg, IN, Ashley Grisam of North Vernon, IN, Amber Gill of Indianapolis, IN and Heather Haste of Indianapolis, IN; his sister, Patricia Neal of Brownsburg, IN; his brothers, Walter Wells of Crawfordsville, IN, James Wells of Cloverdale, IN, Donald Newman of Indianapolis, IN and Jerry Newman of Pittsboro, IN and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters in infancy.
The funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Fay Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
