Sara Lewis, 94 of Little Hocking, Ohio died on May 23, 2019 at the Arcadia Nursing and Rehabitation Center in Coolville, Ohio. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on November 18, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Veronica Stedman Hartwig.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg. She had worked for Citizens Bank and was an Avon Rep for several years. She was a member of the Lamba Chi Omega Business Sorority, a charter member of the Belpre Woman's Club. She was an avid fan of WVU sports, expecially football, she collected antiques, loved family dinners and sending cards and notes.
Survivors include her son Mike (Mary) Lewis of Little Hocking, Ohio, her grandchildren, Robbie (Tracy) Alloway, Stephanie (Chris) Spencer, Bobbie Jo (Chuck) Holden, Bobby Lewis and great grandchildren, Foster Brand, Collin Alloway, Haley Alloway, Luke Spencer, and Emilie Holden. Also surviving are cousins, David (Marilyn) Pitcher of Buchanan, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert (Bob) Lewis, daughter, Lisa Morgan and a sister, Nina (John) Pitcher and a cousin Bruce Demoll.
Services will be on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg with Pastor Ian Reid officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Marietta. Friends may call at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to at the church.
