In addition to his wife, Patty Donaldson, Larry is survived by one son, Dodd Donaldson of Wateka; one daughter, Dawn (Randy) Elesr of Atlanta, GA; three step daughters, Darla Gregory of Watseka, Deanne (Charles) Mansfield of Milford, and Donna (Ryan) Trumann of Milford; one brother, Tom Donaldson of Hoopeston; two grandchildren, Travis and Stephenie; nine step grandchildren, Eric, Preston, Phillip, Kyle, Kevin, Keith, Payton, Brooke, and Leksy; and eleven step great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one brother, Art and one sister, Gloria.
Mr. Donaldson worked at UARCO for over thirty years. He was an avid Watseka Warriors fan as he was recognized at Watseka’s #1 Fan in recent years. He loved the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, and the Fighting Illini.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Wayne Meyer will officiate. Burial will follow at GAR Cemetery in Watseka. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service from 9:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Watseka Booster Club or Family’s Wishes.
