Services for Juanita Knight will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Pruitt Baptist Church with Rev. David McNary officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. at Pruitt Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at Bradford Cemetery in Troup at 4:30 p.m.
Frances Juanita Littlefield Knight was born March 14, 1930 in Cason, Texas. She grew up near Joinerville, and then lived in Troup for many years. She has been a resident of Van since 1971 and was a member of Pruitt Baptist Church. She married Edwin Nathan Knight on April 3, 1948. Together, she and Edwin operated Knight Lease Service for many years. She also worked at Lake Tackle and was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Knight passed away at the age of 89 on May 24, 2019 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Knight in 2013; and parents, Ocia Susan Smires Littlefield and Ira Lillard Littlefield.
Survivors include her two sons, Ronald Knight (Sandra) of Van and Charles Knight (Myra) of Lindale; three brothers, L.C. Littlefield (Sis) of Louisiana, James Henry Littlefield (Betty) of Alto, and Ricky Littlefield (Jo) of Good Springs; sister, Sue Evans (Bobby) of Longview; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
