Michael Scott Barbee, 46, husband of Nancy Dailey Barbee, died Wednesday May 22, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
He was born in Lexington, KY to Ernest Michael and Loretta Crump Barbee. He was a fabrication technician at Orbis Corp, Georgetown, KY, was of the Christian faith, loved riding his motorcycle, deer hunting and most of all, spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also survived by six children, Brittany (Todd) Lark, Meagan Barbee, Cameron Barbee, Nathaniel Watkins, Jordan Abner and John Abner; four grandchildren, Michael Barbee, Nellie Lark, Braylinn Lark and Addison Lark; one sister, Michelle Smith; a niece, Kristen Smith; one great nephew, Aiden Smith and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday May 28, 2019 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Brian Hampton. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday May 27, 2019 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Milton Barbee, Robert Purvis, Randy McCarty, Stephen Donathan, Jimmy White and Justin Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers will be David Smith and Kendall Curtis.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St. Paris, KY 4036.
