Richard W. Horner, Sr., age 83, passed away June 16, 2007. Mr. Horner was a retired carpenter and supervisor of local 200 Carpenters Union. He was a decorated Corporal with the 2nd Marine Division WWII in the United States Marine Corps. Member of American Legion Post 0173 Bellefontaine and V.F.W. Post 15036. Preceded in death by loving wife of 60 years Hilda, March 9, 2007, and brother Emerson Horner. Survived by son, Rick Jr. and wife Dee; grandson, Rick III; and sister, Mary K. Ogelsbee of Cincinnati. Family will receive friends Monday, 6-8 p.m. at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Bellefontaine Cemetery, Bellefontaine, OH, with Rev. A.W. Purdin officiating and Military Honors.
